Award-winning violinist Nicola Benedetti
AWARD-WINNING Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti is to join the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) and music director Thomas Sondergard for an online concert of Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto No 1.
Filmed in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall with 75 musicians, the Sondergard & Benedetti concert programme also features Weinberg’s Rhapsody on Moldavian Themes and Panufnik’s Sinfonia Sacra (Symphony No 3).
The concert, which marks the start of the RSNO’s Spring/Summer Digital Season, premieres today and is available to view on demand until July 30.
