ALL Under One Banner (AUOB) is to give Yes supporters, or those thinking of joining the Yes movement, the chance to put questions to pro-independence candidates in a new fortnightly online event.

The event is set to run up to the Holyrood election on May 6.

AUOB stated: “Scotland Asks is a pro-independence panel discussion show which will air every two weeks from Thursday April 1, where you get to put your questions to the election candidates in order to help make your voting decision’s at the upcoming Holyrood election.

“If your question is chosen, you will have the opportunity to ask the panelists directly on the night. We will contact you on the email/phone number you supply to ensure you are available to ask your question directly to the panelists on the day(s) of filming.”

You can register for Scotland Asks and put your questions via the website auob.org. The questions for the first show must be submitted by 12pm on Tuesday, March 30.

The line-up for the first panel was announced yesterday, and is as follows: Chris McEleny of the SNP; Lynn Sheridan of Action for Independence; Julie McAnulty of the Indepenence for Scotland party and Andy Doig of Scotia Future.

AUOB tweeted: “AUOB brings you a new series of panel shows designed to give you the opportunity to put questions to pro-indy candidates standing at this year’s Scottish election so you have the answers to the questions you want before placing your vote in the ballot boxes.”
