SCOTLAND has recorded a further 390 positive cases of coronavirus, according to the latest statistics.
The figures, released today by the Scottish Government, also say that there were no further deaths of people who had tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. However, it notes that registry offices are generally closed on weekends.
As such, the number of people who have died of Covid in Scotland under this measure remains at 7421.
Yesterday, there were 628 people in hospital across Scotland with confirmed Covid-19, and 61 of these were in intensive care. These numbers have fallen by 11 and two respectively over the past day.
A total of 14,057 new tests for Covid-19 reported results in the last 24 hours, with a positivity rate of 3.2%. This is up slightly on Saturday's 3%.
Of the new cases, 104 are in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, 63 in Lothian, and 61 in Lanarkshire.
Across Scotland, 1,759,750 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination, according to the latest figures. They also show that 115,930 people have received their second dose of the jag.
