Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast (C4, 8pm)

IT’S fight night on the longest pleasure pier in the world, as Amir Khan steps into the ring with Jamie and Jimmy. The duo have a special treat for the Bolton-born boxer as they attempt to recreate his hero Muhammad Ali’s favourite dish – rack of lamb, scalloped potatoes and collard greens. Later, Jamie pushes the boat out with his Malaysian-inspired sea bass cooked in a beautiful fresh banana leaf and served with jasmine rice, rainbow salad and a chilli pickle. Meanwhile, Jimmy serves up some quick quesadillas, then the boys ditch sign up for a shift at a cheese farm in Somerset.

Susan Calman’s Grand Day Out in the Lakes (C5, 8pm)

THE comedian climbs aboard her vintage campervan to explore the mountainous region of north-west England and the Lake District. She begins her 142-mile journey just south of Penrith and travels down through the lakes before heading west to finish near Keswick. Like the Great Barrier Reef, the Grand Canyon and Machu Picchu, this area of outstanding natural beauty is a Unesco World Heritage Site, and Susan discovers why it’s more than worthy of that accolade.
