WITH all of mainland Scotland under level 4 restrictions to help combat the spread of coronavirus, Hogmanay is shaping up to be a little different this year.

However, the team from Independence Live have set out to ensure that 2021 doesn’t arrive unmarked.

Amid the success of the Big Indy Night In earlier this month, Yes supporters were asked: "Should we do something for Hogmanay?" A whopping 98% of those who answered said yes.

In response, Independence Live have created IndyReplay. The event will see some of the key figures in the Yes movements give speeches, performances, and in conversation, all over again.

The event comprises over 12 hours of “amazing, challenging, thought-provoking and inspirational talks from campaigners, politicians, journalists, writers, musicians and many different people who make up the Yes movement”.

The event is free to attend, but donations are accepted and will be split 50/50 between two charities.

These are Tiny Changes, which aims to help young people through mental health battles, and Rock Trust, which works with people aged 16-25 who are homeless, or at risk of becoming so.
