National reader Tor Södergren, from Edinburgh, took this shot of the grounds of Lauriston Castle, one of his family’s favourite places to go for a wander.
Len Clemie of Cupar took this misty shot from at the last lock on the Crinan Canal at the western end, which leads out eventually to the Sound of Jura.
Reader James Cashwell took this snap of a lonely red phone box with an incredible view in Ardnamurchan, Lochaber.

Kenneth Sutherland snapped this ptarmigan with its new fluffy winter boots and white coat on in preparation for the winter weather.
Mike Herd took this tranquil shot at high tide on a calm day on the edge of Loch Fleet, Sutherland.
Brian Ó hEadhra sent us this stunning shot. He said: “Here is a picture I took (on my phone!) last month on Ord Hill on the Black Isle, just below the ancient Pictish fort up the hill. Enjoy!”
