AFTER successfully organising an online assembly that attracted 1400 people last weekend, All Under One Banner (AUOB) will tomorrow host its follow-up online event commencing at 12 noon.

If the first assembly is anything to go by there will be hundreds of people taking part at any one time between 12 noon and 5pm.

The topics to be covered include the same as those on the agenda last week plus, no doubt, a few more as a result of the often passionate discussions which took place in the first assembly.

Sure to be up for discussion is the idea of a national Yes organisation, which National columnist, Lesley Riddoch, supported last weekend – “I can’t see any kind of argument whatsoever for not having a national membership organisation.” Details at auob.org/new-events/auob-assembly-day-2.

As a sort of follow-up to the follow up, Yes Edinburgh West is to host an online discussion on Tuesday, November 24, from 7.30pm about the National Organisation of the Yes Movement.

They stated: “Yes Edinburgh West is hosting this online public meeting to examine recent developments towards establishing a national organisation for the Scottish independence movement.”

Speakers include Andrew G Wilson of AUOB and Lindsay McCrea of Yes Edinburgh and Lothians who will talk on Yes organisation developments. It’s a free event and will take place via Zoom and Facebook. Register at Eventbrite.
