ANOTHER 39 people have died in Scotland after contracting Covid-19, the Government has announced.
The deaths, recorded in the past 24 hours, bring the total among those to have recently tested positive to 3079.
A further 832 coronavirus cases have also been announced – representing 9.5% of newly carried out tests.
Some 1239 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid-19, an increase of 12.
Of those, 102 were in intensive care, a drop of three.
