The family of a Govan man missing for six weeks have made an emotional plea for his safe return.

Vincent Barr, also known as Vinny or Bardo, was last seen walking across the 'squiggly' Tradeston bridge in the city centre at around 9.10pm on Friday, September 18, believed to be returning to the Travel Lodge he had been residing at on Paisley Road.

Police have been carrying out extensive searches since the 54-year-old was reported missing, and now his family have appealed to him directly to make sure he is safe and well.

“Please Vincent, get in touch.”
