The thief got away with a three-figure sum of cash from a store on Monreith Avenue in Bearsden on Tuesday.
He entered the store at 6.15pm before threatening the staff with a weapon and handing over a bag. He told the staff to fill it with money before making off.
He is described as being white, around 6ft tall, of a heavy build and spoke with a Glaswegian accent, and was wearing a blue woollen hat which covered his face with eye holes cut out, a dark coat, dark jeans and blue latex gloves.
