NICOLA Sturgeon has urged Scots to treat the lastest coronavirus figures "with some caution" after a problem with testing at a UK-run lab in Scotland.
Tens of thousands of people are facing delays in getting their coronavirus test results due to an issue at the UK Government Lighthouse facility in Glasgow.

A statement on the Scottish Government's website today said it had been notified "late last week of a testing capacity issue" at the city laboratory.
It said that the issue meant around 64,000 tests from across the UK, including Scotland, will be rerouted this weekend to other testing centres in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Another 316 Scots have tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 46,715. No new deaths were reported.

The First Minister said she would update Scots on the issue at tomorrow's daily briefing.
She said: "Today’s figure for positive Covid cases should be treated with some caution due to a processing delay within the UK lab system. @scotgov is liaising with the UK government to understand and resolve this as quickly as possible. I will give update at daily briefing tomorrow."
