BONGANI ZUNGU was a late addition to Steven Gerrard's Rangers squad on transfer deadline day after the midfielder moved to Ibrox on an initial one-year loan deal.
The South African internationalist's contract at Amiens was scheduled to expire next summer and could have allowed the 27-year-old to move for free next summer, but an extension until 2022 was signed before Zungu swapped France for Scotland.
As part of the deal, Rangers inserted a clause in the contract that allows the Premiership runners-up to make the deal a permanent one if the midfielder impresses during his stint in Govan - and now the future fee has been revealed.
According to the Daily Record, Zungu can make his move to Ibrox permanent for a fee of £2.7 million - so long as they make their bid before June 2021.
