THE Scottish Government has launched a new interactive map detailing the number of coronavirus cases in every neighbourhood across the country.
The Public Health Scotland (PHS) tool shows both the number of cases and the infection rate per 100,000 population over a seven-day period.
The link will take you to the PHS dashboard, from which you can view cases by neighbourhood.
Two bars at the top of the map's page allow you to filter by local authority area or by the date, allowing you to change the seven-day range you are viewing.
Each local authority area is further subdivided into neighbourhoods, with each having a population of between 2500 and 6000 residents.

Announcing the tool at today's coronavirus briefing, the First Minister said she wanted to draw attention to the improvements made in the presentation of Covid data.
Nicola Sturgeon said: "Public Health Scotland has updated the dashboard on its website. It now provides additional Covid information and it tries to provide all of the information in a more accessible format.
"It now allows you to see additional data about the state of the pandemic, not just at a national Scotland-wide level but at a much more local level as well.
"We know from information requests that there is a very understandable desire for people to have more localised information, so the updated dashboard provides that option."
The dashboard also presents information on the different age groups and demographics which Covid is affecting. The effect the virus is having on different deprivation quintiles is presented in the data.
Sturgeon added: "I would encourage anybody who is interested to take a look at this new dashboard.
"I think it will help people to understand the course of the pandemic not just across the country but in your local area and how it is affecting different demographics of the population."
The detailed information for where you live and your demographic can be found here.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
