ANOTHER 758 people have contracted Covid-19 in Scotland, it has been announced.

The new cases represent 12.1% of newly tested individuals and bring the total to 32,209.

No further deaths among patients have recorded in the past 24 hours, meaning the toll under that measurement remains 2530.

The latest figures reveal 210 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed coronavirus – an increase of 19 on 24 hours previously.

Of those, 22 were in intensive care – up by one. 

Glasgow and Greater Clyde again saw the largest increase, with 266 new cases. 

Lothian recorded 176 while Lanarkshire had 138.
