UPDATE: Stephen has been found safe and well.
THERE is "growing concern" for a man who has gone missing from the East End.
Stephen Kane was last seen on Cardowan Road, Carntyne, at around 5.05pm yesterday.
Officers searching for him say he was at its junction with Inveresk Street when he went missing.
Stephen is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of muscular build, with bald shaved head, bushy eye brows and blue eyes.
He is believed to be wearing a grey hooded jumper, black/blue jogging bottoms and black trainers.
Sergeant Erik Work, of Glasgow London Road Police Station, said: “We are very concerned for Stephen's health and wellbeing.
“Anyone who has seen Stephen or anyone who knows of his present whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland immediately via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 2526 of 16 September.”
