IT has taken a wee bit for the penny to have dropped, but now I understand that BBC Scotland has taken over responsibility for advising the Scottish public on health issues during this emergency.

Someone within the BBC will, from now on, decide what information should be shared with the general population. It obviously cannot be left to the First Minister to decide what is important and what is not.

Therefore I would need to know the name of this individual for several reasons.

Is this individual a medical expert with expertise in such emergencies?

If withholding information to the general Scottish public results in death/s will this individual be held to account?

If I, or any of my family. should die because of withheld information can, I or my family, sue the BBC for every penny they possess for willingly denying the people of Scotland crucial information regarding their safety at this time?

Who is that person??
