A MAN is due to appear in court in connection with a serious assault in Renfrewshire.
The 36-year-old has been arrested and charged after a 33-year-old man was found injured inside a MacDowall Street property, in Johnstone, on Sunday.

The alleged victim was taken Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in Glasgow, where his condition is described as critical but stable.
The accused is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
