Of the 156 cases of coronavirus, 73 were found in the Greater Glasgow health board area, where new restrictions are in place following a surge in infections.

People should not visit others’ homes in Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire for the next two weeks.

The Scottish Government has said this period could be extended if necessary.
