THOSE of you who know the Jouker, know that he likes to have a wee joke. This time though, we really, really wish we weren't joking.
A Conservative Member of Parliament, a man who has actually been elected by the good people of The Cotswolds, has done a little dance to Rule Britannia to show how patriotic he is.
Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown (who is labelled and referred to as Clinton-Brown in the video, perhaps in an attempt to hide his identity) says he thinks it's "pathetic" that the "BBC wants to dumb-down everything that is great about this country".
He seems to be referring to the BBC Proms' decision to play Rule Britannia without the lyrics - which has inexpicably dominated the news today.
He goes on: "I accept that there are bits of our history that weren't all that marvellous."
(The Jouker is a bit stumped as to what he might be referring to here. Having studied the British Empire in school we can assure him it was all that marvellous, we certainly didn't hear about any bad goings on anyway.)

Highlighting Britain's greatest aspects, Clifton-Brown says "our musical achievements were certainly one" of them.
In fact, he calls our music "world-beating". (The Jouker's certainly heard that said before recently, but we can't think where...)

To prove just how world-beating the British music is, the host then plays Rule Britannia, asking: "Who could not be stirred by this?"
The Tory MP certainly seems stirred.
On hearing the rousing chorus he jumps to his feet and waves his arms about a bit. He doesn't sing. We expect that's because, like the rest of us, he doesn't know beyond the first two words.
