ANOTHER week, another fine batch of releases from Scotland's burgeoning music scene.

It's hard not to be impressed by such a tapestry of talented artists that keep us all alive through some truly dark times.

While there is no clarity on when we will be able to catch live shows once again in Scotland, there will be no shortage of new tracks just waiting to be unleashed on the masses.

Gallus – Eye to Eye
Scottish punk heroes follow up on Breathless with their second release of the year.

One-line review: “Abrasive and uncompromising with a very welcome infusion of charm.”
FFO: Rascalton, The Media Whores, Parliamo

Dictator – Days Gone By
Second release of the year for the West Lothian outfit and, my, is it epic.

One-line review: “Expansive and stirring with a haunting vocal performance.”
FFO: Wrest, ForeignFox, Luke La Volpe

SHEARS – Ideas
Another fine track from the talented electro-pop star.

One-line review: “Polished pop hooks with a dark and raw backbone.”
FFO: Misty Galactic, HYYTS, stmartiins

The Ronains – Quarantine
The four-piece come back strong following a short absence from the scene.

One-line review: “Smooth rock ‘n’ roll grooves with a little edge to it.”

Aaron Smith – Unconditional (from For my Father EP)
Opening track from the singer’s newest EP released today.

One-line review: “A reflective and unnerving ballad, fraught with emotion.”
FFO: Lewis Capaldi, Robbie Hutton, Cara Rose

GRAVELLE – Disappear (from Obsessions EP)
Though Disappear is a stand out track, the four-track EP offers a wide range of expression.

One-line review: “Cutting and tense with some warring instrumentation.”
FFO: The Ninth Wave, Post Ironic State, Pleasure Heads
