PUBS in Aberdeen have reportedly been "heaving" this afternoon after Nicola Sturgeon announced a lockdown for the city.
Journalist Jack Foster tweeted about an unnamed busy pub, saying people "clearly keen on getting one last pint in".
He tweeted: "A pub in Aberdeen city centre saying it's got much busier since Nicola Sturgeon's announcement of a local lockdown beginning at 5pm tonight. Punters clearly keen on getting one last pint in."

An Aberdeen delivery driver tweeted about entering a busy pub just hours before bars close.
He said: "Just delivered to a pub in #Aberdeen and the place was heaving obviously because they close at 5pm I would think for 2 weeks at least but the mentality of people to cram a pub because we’re going into lockdown again is crazy do they realise why we’re going into lockdown."

Sturgeon said city council leaders had agreed to the measures which come into force at 5pm tonight.
She said the decision had not been taken lightly but extreme caution is necessary to contain the outbreak and prevent further harm.

It comes as Scotland recorded 64 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the highest number for several weeks.
In Aberdeen there has been a cluster of cases linked to The Hawthorn Bar.
Sturgeon said that 191 contacts have been traced in relation to the cluster.
She said that the rise in cases has contributed to a greater fear there was a “significant outbreak” in the city.
According to the First Minister, more than 20 other pubs and restaurants are involved in the cluster.
