JUDGING by the polls, most people have been fairly impressed by Nicola Sturgeon’s leadership during the coronavirus crisis.

There are of course exceptions.

Jackson Carlaw, for instance, likes to study the First Minister’s steps in forensic detail and rarely likes what he sees. Such is his focus, he is completely unaware of ongoings at Westminster, rendering him unable to comment on any potential missteps from his Tory bosses.

And it seems, in businessman Duncan Bannatyne, Carlaw has found a kindred spirit.

The Dragon’s Den star is known to be a tough man to be please and it seems whatever Nicola Sturgeon is offering, he’s not interested.

The gym chain owner is furious with the First Minister, who announced today that indoor gyms should remain closed until at least September 14.

Speaking with an employee on Twitter, who said the FM needs “new advisors”, Bannatyne replied: “I doubt her advisors are really the problem or she would make the advice she says she has been given public.”

He added: “It is obvious that @NicolaSturgeon has a hidden agenda.”

To most onlookers, it seems the agenda is to protect people from a deadly virus.
