GLASGOW’S official tourist buses are set to reopen on next Friday after a successful trial run.
City Sightseeing Glasgow offers a unique opportunity to see the city’s key attractions from their open-top buses while learning about the history of Glasgow.
Glasgow Times reporter, Jamie Shuttleworth, joined the tour yesterday at their George Square stop to find out what changes have been made to the service.
But with not all attractions being opened straight away, they have adjusted their route to include many of Glasgow’s famous food and drink spots.
Sharon Morrison, communications director at City Sightseeing Glasgow said: “It’s exciting times and we look forward to showcasing our city, its attractions and our ever-growing café culture in a fun and safe way.”
The bus will run once an hour Friday to Monday from 22 different stops across the city and customers are being advised to book online to guarantee a space on the tour.
