QUESTION Time is back on our screens for another “virtual” edition.

There are representatives from Labour and the Tories on the panel, but no Scottish politicians.

As has been the case throughout the crisis, a platform is given to health and scientific experts.

This week Professor Hugh Pennington, emeritus professor of bacteriology at the University of Aberdeen, is on the show.

Some may remember him as a member of Academics Together, part of the pro-Union Better Together campaign. He claimed ahead of the 2014 indyref that a Yes vote could jeopardise scientific breakthroughs and curtail the careers of young scientists.

But with no pro-independence panellists to counter him, let's hope he sticks to science...

Joining Pennington on the panel is UK Business Minister Nadhim Zahawi, Labour MP David Lammy and Royal College of Nursing chief executive Donna Kinnair.

The show will be hosted by Fiona Bruce, with questions put to the panel submitted via social media.

The programme airs on BBC One Scotland at 10.45pm.
