A NEW virtual performance series to celebrate musical talent nurtured in Scotland is set to be launched by the Royal Conservatoire this week.

Kicked off by graduate Fergus McCreadie, one of the most exciting young artists on the European jazz scene, the Scotland House Sessions will introduce students and alumni from the country’s national conservatoire to audiences all over the world in three lunchtime performances this Wednesday and on June 17 and July 1.

Conservatoire principal Professor Jeffrey Sharkey said: “It’s our pleasure to be able to share the connecting power and joy of music from Scotland’s national conservatoire.”
