FOR many Scots, the prospect of watching Question Time is not always the most enticing.
With little or no Scottish representation, plus the prominence of Unionist arguments, the BBC show rarely offers much for Yes-inclined viewers in particular.
Tonight’s show, however, could be worth paying attention to.
On the panel is Deputy First Minister and Education Secretary John Swinney.
He’ll be sparring with Scottish Labour’s only MP Ian Murray, an arch-Unionist who’s been a fierce critic of the Scottish Government during the coronavirus crisis.
There’s also the Spectator’s Scotland editor Alex Massie.
Notable in their absence are the Scottish Tories, with Care Minister Helen Whately representing the UK Government.
Making up the panel is Layla McCay, director of international relations at NHS Confederation.

As always, the show will be hosted by Fiona Bruce. There is not studio audience so questions put to the panel will be submitted on social media.
Question Time airs on BBC One Scotland at 10.45pm.
