I WAS amused by the statement from the Electoral Reform Society that the Tories’ “blinkered and partisan” decision to shut down virtual proceedings at Westminster will result in the number of MPs able to participate plummeting and representatives from devolved nations being “locked out”.

Is it not the case they have been effectively “locked out” for over 300 years?
