A DEER was seen wandering the streets on Glasgow city centre at 6am this morning.

A video of the animal running in front of Office on Buchanan street was posted to Twitter.

It is unclear how it got there but roe deer are apparently becoming more established in Scottish cities and large towns including Glasgow, Dumfries, Paisley, East Kilbride and Ayr.

There are estimated to be around 700,000 wild deer in Scotland, with the majority being Red Deer (up to 400,000), closely followed by Roe Deer (up to 350,000).
