A LIST of questions for Matt Hancock to be asked at an upcoming parliamentary coronavirus briefing has been leaked to all MPs.

PoliticsHome editor Kevin Schofield obtained a copy of the email sent by Hancock's parliamentary aide Steve Double.

It contained the following questions to ask the Health Secretary at the meeting on May 5:

  1. What steps his department is taking to support the development of a vaccine for Covid-19?
  2. What progress his department has made on ensuring adequate critical care capacity in hospitals throughout the Covid-19 outbreak?
  3. What progress his department has made on ensuring all NHS and care staff who need a test for Covid-19 are able to access one?
  4. What progress his department has been made on increasing staffing levels within the NHS in response to the Covid-19 outbreak?
  5. What steps his department is taking to support the mental health of NHS workers through the Covid-19 outbreak?
  6. What steps his department is taking to ensure NHS providers have the financial support they need through the Covid-19 outbreak?

New Statesman columnist described the leak as a "public service blunder" that "gives us a glimpse into the propaganda drive".
