Kate & Koji (STV, 8pm)

AS anyone who has been watching this sitcom will know, it focuses on the friendship that develops between cafe owner Kate and asylum-seeker Koji (Jimmy Akingbola). But could their relationship become more than strictly platonic? Some viewers may not be convinced, but that’s the impression Kate (Brenda Blethyn) would like to give this week when her flashy ex-husband Dennis (played by Christopher Timothy) arrives in town with his much younger wife in tow.

Devs (BBC2, 9pm)

NOVELIST turned director and screenwriter Alex Garland has picked up plaudits for his films Ex Machina and Annihilation. Now, he’s turning his talents to TV with this new eight-part thriller, which stars Ex Machina’s Sonoya Mizuno and Parks and Recreation’s Nick Offerman. It focuses on software engineer Lily, who works for Amaya, a cutting-edge technology firm. When her Russian boyfriend Sergei (Karl Glusman) comes up with an impressive algorithm, he’s promoted to Amaya’s devs (development) team, which works away from the other employees in a secure facility, but then goes missing.

Mister Winner (BBC2, 10pm)

JEMMA asks Leslie to wait in for a parcel for her while she goes to a business trip, but Leslie has other ideas and plans to go to a Doctor Who convention with his best friend Cooper. Feeling guilty about letting her down, Leslie decides to cancel his day out with Cooper and stays at home to wait in for the package, which is a gift for his father-in-law. However, things do not go to plan when Leslie manages to get himself locked out of the flat, before almost burning the place down. Comedy, starring Spencer Jones and Lucy Pearman.

Feel Good (C4, 10pm)

IN the fourth episode, the arrival of heart-throb Arnie Rivers at the comedy club further knocks Mae’s confidence in her faltering relationship, as it turns out that George had posters of him on her bedroom wall as a teenager.

When Arnie encourages Mae to be as honest as possible on stage in her routines, it catapults her career into the spotlight, but simultaneously jeopardises her relationship with George. Comedy, starring Mae Martin, Charlotte Ritchie, Lisa Kudrow and Sophie Thompson.
