SCOTTISH band Runrig are set to stream their farewell concert film online for free to help lift their fans’ spirits amid the coronavirus crisis.

The 180-minute concert film captures the band’s final live performance which took place in front of Stirling Castle in 2018 and brought in a collective audience of 50,000 people

The Last Dance film celebrates the end of an era after the band’s 45 years of songs, celebrations and performances.

Rory Macdonald, a founding member and bassist in the band, said: “During these uncertain times, it may be hard to feel connected with the communities we love most.  We hope that by live streaming our farewell performance, captured in the film The Last Dance, we'll help reunite our fans and the Runrig community, and help raise the spirits.”
