IF you are looking for advice on coronavirus, the best thing to do is use official sources of information, such as those from the NHS and Scottish Government.

To make things easier, NHS Scotland has released sharable graphics with recommendations for people on how to isolate and how to handle symptoms.

The National:

The main recommendation is that anyone showing symptoms must self-isolate for seven days at the very least. If they share a household with others, everyone must self-isolate for 14 days.

This is because others can catch the virus from you and may themselves become sick.

It is important to take note of what group you fall under as recommendations differ. If you are a high-risk individual, it is important to follow the tailored NHS advice specific to you.

The National:

Ensure you are following advice from legitimate sources as false information is currently circulating online. If in doubt, check advice before you share it on social media.
