Harry Redknapp’s Sandbanks Summer (STV, 8pm)

FOR more than 20 years, Harry Redknapp has lived in Sandbanks, the Dorset peninsula that’s famed for being the most expensive and exclusive seaside resort in Britain. Now, Harry is giving viewers a glimpse into his life there. In the first episode he’s joined by Neil “Razor” Ruddock, who is thinking of moving to Sandbanks. So, Harry takes him and Joe Pasquale to look at a penthouse, before they all head to a living history day at Corfe Castle, where Joe and Harry become medieval knights.

Jon Snow’s Very Hard Questions (More4, 8pm)

THE Channel 4 News presenter takes the helm of what is apparently the “toughest quiz on TV”, as he asks the brainiest people in Britain a series of difficult questions. Each episode will see two teams of boffins aiming to earn a score high enough to top the leader board and go through to the series final, the winners of which will take home £5,000 and the Very Hard Questions trophy.

Corner Shop Cook-Off, BBC Scotland, 8pm

FOODIE Clare Grogan and Masterchef: The Professionals winner Gary Maclean are out to prove that last-minute convenience shopping needn’t mean disappointing dinners. Every week the pair will visit a different corner shop to meet the owners and scour their shelves for inspiration. Resident chef Gary then goes head-to-head with a different guest chef every week in the Corner Shop Cook Off kitchen. Each has only £15 to create their three best courses.

Spy in the Wild (BBC1, 9pm)

THE spy cameras travel to the Arctic and Antarctic circles, following chicks in a king penguin colony on the island of South Georgia in the Southern Ocean. On the other side of the world, Spy Walrus discovers a walrus family hauled out on an ice floe, before Spy Gyrfalcon follows the family as they head towards dry land. Elsewhere, Spy Puffin follows thousands of male puffins as they search for their life-long partners. Last in the series.
