THE UK Government has shared another example of how the Union continues to deliver for Scotland – but not all is as it seems.
In one of its latest videos, the 'UK Government in Scotland' facebook account makes the claim that the UK's coastal blue belt is expanding. It also claims that Scotland's beaches will be cleaner as a result, chalking this up as another victory for the Union.
However, the actual details of how they plan to achieve this are... vague at best.
The UK Government plan to invest in protecting the ocean waters around the United Kingdom's Overseas Territories which, they argue, will lead to cleaner beaches in Scotland.
How? Because it will lead to cleaner beaches around the whole world.

Reading the associated material though, you would be forgiven for thinking that the UK was making a direct investment into Scotland's shores – but that's not the case.
Delivering for Scotland? Aye right.
