Man with a Plan (E4, 7.30pm)

IF you’ve been missing Friends star and former Top Gear host Matt LeBlanc, you are in luck. He is returning to our screens in this comedy about an old-school guy confronting the modern challenges of parenting and marriage. LeBlanc plays Adam, who has hit a rough patch with his construction firm. Adam’s self-assured wife, Andi (Liza Snyder), has proposed they start a house-flipping business together along with his clueless elder brother, Don (Kevin Nealon), and unlikely friend, Lowell (Matt Cook). In tonight’s opener, Andi goes back to work and Adam stays home to take care of the kids.

Prison (C4, 9pm)

NEW series. The return of the documentary offering an insight into life inside a British jail from the perspective of both staff and inmates, this time coming from HMP Foston Hall in Derbyshire, where more than 300 women are incarcerated for everything from non-payment of fines to murder. The opening edition focuses on the First Nights Unit, where inmates can arrive for sentences as short as just a few weeks. The cameras capture moments of humour and warmth, but there is also bullying, with one returning offender describing the prison as “St Trinian’s on crack”.

Cold Feet (STV, 9pm)

ADAM and Karen’s future is thrown into jeopardy by an unexpected offer, and David is in turmoil over his growing feelings for Robyn. While Jenny braces herself for her first mammogram after her treatment for cancer, Pete helps their son Adam realise his dream. John Thomson, James Nesbitt, Fay Ripley, Hermione Norris and Robert Bathurst star in the concluding instalment of the ninth season of Mike Bullen’s comedy drama.

Confronting Holocaust Denial with David Baddiel (BBC2, 9pm)

MEMBERS of David Baddiel’s family suffered at the hands of the Nazis, while his grandparents fled the regime in 1939 before settling in Britain. Here he confronts some of those who, despite it being one of the most documented events in history, are convinced the Holocaust never happened.
