BORIS Johnson’s top political strategist has given a series of bizarre responses to reporters who doorstepped him – referencing popular kid’s TV show PJ Masks.

Dominic Cummings was questioned about the UK Government announcement to press ahead with building HS2 – a high-speed railway between London and Birmingham.

Cummings was asked by a BBC reporter about why HS2 was now going ahead when he had branded it a “disaster zone” and an “error”.

He responded: “The night time is the right time to fight crime.

“I can’t think of a rhyme.”

Cummings was asked again but continued with his bizarre responses.
