A LABOUR MP has taken to Twitter to deny she is “a slag”, is just about to breastfeed or that she has just been “banged over a wheelie bin”.

Tracy Brabin posted a response to the barrage of inappropriate comments she received in reference to the outfit she wore in the Commons on Tuesday.

“Hello,” wrote the shadow culture secretary. “Sorry I don’t have time to reply to all of you commenting on this but I can confirm I’m not … A slag. Hungover. A tart. About to breastfeed. A slapper. Drunk. Just been banged over a wheelie bin.

“Who knew people could get so emotional over a shoulder...”

Brabin was raising a point of order on the UK Government’s decision to exclude some senior journalists – including Scottish journalists – from a briefing on UK-EU negotiations.

In her tweet, the MP for Batley and Spen quote-tweeted Twitter user Lawrence Dovey who asked: “Is this really appropriate attire for parliament? @TracyBrabin #DressStandards.”
