Milngavie Music Club

The Milngavie Music Club goes Nordic to kick-start the new year and the second half of their season with a concert of powerful music. Formed in 2006, the Engergård Quartet has become one of the most sought-after ensembles from Scandinavia, having performed successfully across Europe and America. The ensemble brings an exciting calling card from their native land with Grieg’s dramatic quartet, and close the show with another Nordic masterpiece, the only quartet composed by Finn Sibelius in his maturity, which promises to be intense and very personal.
