MORE than half of Scots (54%) struggle to complete fundamental “life admin” due to their challenging work-life balances, a new study had found.

Life admin refers to regular personal tasks like booking dental and doctor appointments, managing finances, reading the electricity meter or sending letters.

The figures, produced by YouGov for RBS, found young people are among the worst affected with almost seven in 10 18-24 year olds saying they struggle with such tasks.

Kristen Bennie, head of open experience at RBS, said the research shows the “growing pressure” of today’s world. She added RBS will develop its technology to help make life admin more efficient.
