THE SNP are celebrating a hat-trick of election victories after another representative was elected to their local council.
Emma Rodwick was elected to represent the Inverness Central area on Highland Council.
It comes after Derek Glen and Sharon Green-Wilson won in Dunfermline Central and Rosyth respectively.
The wins push the SNP majority on Fife Council to six, with 30 councillors.

After the votes were counted this morning, SNP leader and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon tweeted: "What a result! That's 3 out of 3 SNP victories in yesterday's by-elections."
Drew Hendry, the SNP's candidate for Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey in next month's General Election, hailed the result.

He said: "This hat-trick of stunning election victories shows that voters are backing the SNP to beat the Tories, escape Brexit and put Scotland's future in Scotland's hands – not Boris Johnson's.
"The SNP has a clear, strong and positive message – and as the main challenger in every Tory-held seat in Scotland, only a vote for the SNP on December 12 can lock the Tories out of government and ensure the people of Scotland have a choice over our future.
"At the General Election on December 12, a vote for the SNP is a vote to stop the Tories, get away from the Brexit mess and protect Scotland's right to choose our own future – so we can build the fairer, more equal and prosperous country we all want to see."
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
