Dublin Murders (BBC1, 9pm)

EXPECT to be glued to your TV screen every Monday and Tuesday evening for the next four weeks thanks to this new crime drama. Set in 2006 and adapted from the first two books in a series by Tana French, it begins with an investigation led by detectives Rob and Cassie into the murder of bright teenager Katy Devlin, whose body has been found on an altar in the middle of an archaeological site. She lived on a nearby rundown housing estate, whose residents lived through a similar tragedy 21 years earlier when three girls vanished, with only one returning alive. Could the two cases be linked?

Sainsbury’s: 150 Years On The High Street (C5, 9pm)

FIONA Phillips examines the changing fortunes of one of the oldest names on the high street. The programme features contributions from employees, customers and financial experts, and examines the challenges in dominating the middle market and attempting to be competitive on both price and quality.

Family Guy (ITV2, 9pm)

THE 18th series of the animated comedy gets under way. Downsizing at the Pawtucket Brewery has Peter worried about his job. To help lower his stress, a doctor recommends that he begins listening to “yacht rock” (think Kenny Loggins and Hall and Oates). After getting his friends and family on board with his idea, Peter invites everybody to join him on a cruise ship dedicated to soft rock.
