The National:

ANOTHER week, another BBC Question Time entirely free of politicians representing Scotland.

Last week the show aired from Cardiff, Wales, and so the producers perhaps feel that the "outside England" box has been ticked for a good wee while.

This week, the Question Time audience will be in Wallasey, England, before heading to Beckenham next week.

Host Fiona Bruce will be joined by five others on the Question Time panel.

These are:

  • Nadhim Zahawi, Tory MP
  • Sarah Jones, Labour MP
  • Anand Menon, prefessor of European politics
  • Bonnie Greer, novelist and playwright
  • Melanie Phillips, journalist and broadcaster

The show's most recent contributor from the Scottish political sphere was SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford, on September 5.

The show last travelled to Scotland on May 16 in Elgin, and will do so next on November 7, when it comes to Glasgow.

The BBC's "flagship" political debate show, everyone...
