THE third leg of Dave Myers and Si King’s trip sees them on the trail of Oklahoma’s famous beef. In Oklahoma City, a classic T-bone steak is followed by a visit to the city’s Vietnamese community, where they knock up their national dish pho – a broth made of beef or chicken. After checking out El Reno’s unique onion burger the duo hook up with a couple of fire crews who like to cook – especially brisket.
Paul O’Grady’s Little Heroes

YOU may not expect many laughs from a series about Great Ormond Street, the famous hospital that treats 600 children every day. However, there’s nothing depressing about this programme – on the contrary, the heart-warming wit from the children as well as the presenter himself, will raise far more smiles than their health problems generates tears. Tonight, Paul hears the story of six-year-old Noah, who was born with a genetic disorder that affects the body’s organs
Conspiracy Files: Vaccine Wars
(BBC2, 9pm)
LAST month, the UK lost its three year “measles-free” status from the World Health Organisation following a rise in confirmed cases and a fall in the number of children getting the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccination. The virus was eliminated in the UK in 2016, but there were 231 confirmed cases of measles recorded in the first quarter of 2019, alongside a decline in the number of children getting the second dose of the MMR jab.
The Cameron Years (BBC1, 9pm)
THE second of the two-part documentary begins in 2005 at a moment of crisis for the Tories, following three successive general election defeats. David Cameron, a relatively new MP, and his small group of supporters sought to radically shift the party’s direction, taking on veteran opponent David Davis in a leadership election. Here, Cameron re-examines his desire to reshape the party – and how he risked alienating the powerful old guard.
