A GLASGOW hotel is offering a fusion of yoga and voguing in a city first.

Inspired by National Yoga Day, luxury hotel Kimpton Blythswood Square has partnered with House of Voga to host a high-energy Voga class within the hotel’s luxury surroundings.

Voga combines yoga with a cardio workout without losing the holistic benefits and focus.

While yoga reduces stress and increases calm and balance, Voga answers the cardiovascular demand to ensure a healthy heart.

Murray Thomson, hotel general manager, said: “We like to offer our guests one-off experiences which are good for the mind and body.

“We’re welcoming guests of all ages and abilities to reconnect with and express their former eighties self through Voga, concluding with a well-earned gin and tonic and detox refreshments. We’re excited to be working alongside House of Voga on this Glasgow-first event.”

The Voga session will take place in the hotel’s private event suite and tickets are priced at £20 which includes an hour of high-energy Voga performed to a live DJ set of eighties classic beats, followed by refreshments.
