ENGLISH Defence League co-founder Tommy Robinson has called for a second European election ballot after he received just 2.2% of the vote in the North West.

In a bizarre topless video posted from his bed, shared on the Telegram private messaging app, the former European Parliament candidate announces he is "dead to the world".

He goes on: “I don’t accept the result of the election. I want a second vote.”

Robinson added “people had been lied to” before saying “I want to do it again”.

Last night, after hearing the results of the North West ballot and discovering he had lost his £5000 deposit, Robinson snuck out of the election count.

It is thought that some time after, Robinson – real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon – made the video.

The three far-right internet personalities who made European Parliament bids – Ukip's Carl Benjamin (Sargon of Akkad), Mark Meechan (Count Dankula) and independent Robinson – all failed in their attempts.
