Puppy School, C4, 8pm
IF TV bosses really think that making a documentary series about cute, adorable dogs will attract millions of viewers, they’d be absolutely right. Dog experts Oli Juste, Katie Patmore and Hannah Molloy will be guiding a new class of puppy parents from across the country. This time it’s the turn of Dinah from Birmingham. She received her puppy Bambi as a present from her boyfriend to lift her spirits after her MS diagnosis.
The Looming Tower, BBC2, 9.30pm
THIS tense drama tracing the rising threat of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda in the late 1990s and how a rivalry between the FBI and CIA developed during the era continues. December 1999 finds both public bodies on high alert as threats surrounding a co-ordinated terrorist attack timed for the new millennium abound. O’Neill and Soufan raid an al-Qaeda cell in New York City, and the CIA continues to hide vital information from the FBI while tracking suspicious individuals entering the US.
Hatton Garden: The Inside Story, STV, 9pm
ROSS Kemp examines the April 2015 heist, when a group of career criminals broke into a safe deposit facility and stole £14 million in precious metals, cash and jewels, an event dubbed the biggest burglary of its type in British history. The documentary gains access to the secret surveillance material that put the thieves behind bars and features exclusive interviews with the detectives who cracked the case, as well as Kenny Collins, one of the thieves involved.
The Graham Norton Show, BBC1, 10.35pm
FOR almost 20 years, X-Men movies have put millions of bums on seats. Dark Phoenix, which opens on June 5, is rumoured to be the final film in the saga, so Norton will be gossiping with the likes of double Oscar nominees Jessica Chastain and Michael Fassbender. Joining them on the sofa is Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
The Yorkshire Steam Railway: All Aboard, C5, 8pm
PREPARATIONS are under way for Yorkshire Day, including a special Yorkshire-themed Pullman service, with Gill and husband Paul getting hands-on sorting out the event.
