VOTERS will go to the polls across Scotland tomorrow to cast their ballots for our next MEPs.

Tonight, ahead of election day, SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford his party's members – and voters – a clear signal as to the importance this vote holds.

Below is the full message being sent out by SNP MP Blackford.

----------------------------------------------

Like me, you probably didn’t join the SNP to talk about Brexit. But tomorrow will be the most important European election Scotland has ever taken part in.

With Westminster in chaos and right-wing Brexiteers set to make gains in England, it is so important that everyone who believes in an independent Scotland speaks with one voice tomorrow.

We have a golden opportunity to send a clear message that Scotland’s for Europe and won’t be ignored - but that’s only possible by voting SNP.

The Yes family’s great strength lies in its diversity. But under this voting system, if people vote for other Remain parties, there is a real danger that hard-Brexit, pro-Union parties could do better than expected.

So my message is clear: to stop the Brexit chaos and to keep Scotland moving forward, we all have to vote SNP tomorrow.

Only a strong team of SNP MEPs will make Scotland’s voice heard and champion the cause of a progressive, outward-looking, independent Scotland at the very heart of Europe.

Turnout will be crucial, so I need every one of you not only to get to the polling station - but also to reach out to five friends to do likewise.

Send this email on, text them or give them a call.

With a final push, Scotland can do well tomorrow. We can send an unequivocal message that Scotland’s for Europe – but that can only happen if we all get out to vote.
