TICKETS are on sale for an event which will mark the 150th anniversary of The National Wallace Monument.
The event, which will take place in the grounds of Wallace High School, will feature live music from the likes of internationally acclaimed bagpipe band Red Hot Chilli Pipers and 2015 winner of The Voice Steve McCrorie.
There will also be a number of Wallace-themed family-friendly activities available, from face painting to a funfair and a medieval crafts tent, while traditional storytellers, Scotsbard, and medieval re-enactment performance group, The Clann, help guests to experience a different side of traditional Scottish culture
There will also be a selection of quality food and drink from a selection of Scottish suppliers available throughout the day, as well as a fully licensed bar.
“The building of a national memorial to pay tribute to William Wallace was an important chapter in the story of Stirling,” said marketing manager for Stirling District Tourism, the charity that operates the Monument, Ken Thomson. Wallace Wha Hae is an exciting way for everyone to join the 150th anniversary celebrations.
