A 28-YEAR-old man appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday, charged with the murder of boxing coach and actor Bradley Welsh.
Sean Orman from Addiewell in West Lothian has been accused of murdering Welsh, 48, on April 17. The Trainspotting 2 star was fatally shot outside his home in Chester Street in Edinburgh.
Orman has also been charged with assault to severe injury and attempted murder in relation to other alleged offences.
These charges elate to an incident in Pitcairn Grove, Oxgangs, in March which David McMillan, 48, and his son, also David, 22, suffered blade injuries.
Orman made no plea or declaration during the private hearing at the Sheriff Court and was committed for further examination. He was remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.
