PAUL Kavanagh (aka the Wee Ginger Dug) and National editor are joined this week by Scottish Independence Convention convener Elaine C Smith.

It's a bumper, hour-long edition of the Dugcast, with the trio having so much to discuss.

While we've got all your usual independence chat, Smith also came to explain the importance of the convention's new campaign organisation, Voices For Scotland.

“I want to hear from the people who voted No, because that’s who we’ve got to take with us,” she explains.

And summing up her message to Scots, Smith said: “Let’s be realistic, running a country is hard ... there will be difficult decisions to take. But are the decisions better taken her than looking down and thinking ‘Aw it’s ok, all those guys that went to Eton, they’ll know better than us’?

“It’s been demonstrated so many times by the leaders from down south coming up to Scotland – they haven’t a clue.”
